The following information is correct at the time of publication. Eastbourne Borough Council cannot be held responsible for any changes in prices, opening times or information contained on this page. 

Height restrictions may apply at some car parks.

Please note, normal seafront parking charges remain in force for the duration of the air show. Eastbourne Resident's Leisure Cards are not valid during Airbourne at Beachy Head and Eastbourne Car Parks.

Where the above sign is shown only cars and motorbikes will be allowed to park.
Parking of high-sided vehicles along the seafront between Cambridge Rd and Holywell Rd will be restricted from 00:01 on Thursday 16 August until 23:59 on Sunday 19 August. A penalty charge notice may be issued as normal parking restrictions apply. For information on where to stay please contact the Tourist Information Centre.

Beachy Head Car Park & Viewing

Warren Hill Field and Dencher

For somewhere a bit different and unique, head to the Park n' View car park at Dencher, Beachy Head (near the pub), with views of some of the bigger flying displays as they take place over Eastbourne seafront*. Toilets and refreshments available. Please note the permanent car parks at Beachy Head and Warren Hill are pay and display and normal charges will apply. At Warren Hill Field, the Dencher and Dewpond temporary event car parks there will be £5 daily charge levied for parking as part of the event traffic management for the area. We advise arriving early to avoid the traffic queues.

Open 11:00 to 18:30 on Thursday and 10:00 - 18:30 Friday - Sunday.

* Please note all displays will take place on the display line between the Western Lawns and the Pier. There are no flying displays at Beachy Head.

5 Acre Field Park & Bus

There will be a Park & Bus scheme in operation between 5 Acre Field (BN22 7SG) and Eastbourne Pier.

Airbourne Flyer Service Fares are: Adult return £4, Child Return £3, Adult Airbourne Flyer £5, Under 16 Airbourne Flyer £3, Family Airbourne Flyer £10 (one adult + up to four under 16, or two adults and up to three under 16)*

Airbourne Flyer can be used on all buses within Eastbourne Dayrider zone. No other tickets to be accepted on Airbourne P&B services other than singles and Airbourne Flyer.

The Airbourne Flyer service is not subject to the concessionary fares scheme, and concessionary passes will therefore not be accepted. Parking £5 per car.*

Useful parking information

Disabled Parking - There is one designated Disabled Parking area, available on a first come first served basis. Devonshire Place (between its junction with Grand Parade B2103 and its junction with Memorial Roundabout (BN21 4AJ).

The off seafront NCP Pay and Display Car Park also has bays for disabled drivers - Trinity Place, BN21 3BZ.

St Andrews Park & Ride (BN20 7RP) - Thursday - Sunday

St Andrews School is operated by the Rotary Club of Eastbourne Sovereign and they take donations for parking on all four days. The Airbourne Flyer bus service operates only at the weekend from this venue.

The Airbourne Flyer ticket can be used on all buses within Eastbourne Dayrider zone. No other tickets to be accepted on Airbourne Parking and Bus Service other than the Airbourne Flyer. Please note that the bus service only operates on Saturday & Sunday.

The Airbourne Flyer service is not subject to the concessionary fares scheme, and concessionary passes will therefore not be accepted.

King Edward's Parade opposite Staveley Rd. Convenient seafront parking limited spaces available first come first served western end of Seafront near Holywell. £10 all day includes donation to the Airshow.

Saffrons Park & Walk (BN21 1EA) - Friday, Saturday & Sunday 

There are additional parking spaces available at Saffrons, BN21 1EA at the entrance on Compton Place Road. Park & Walk open between 08:30 - 18:00.

Turn left out of the car park onto Compton Place Road, cross Meads Road and continue to the junction of Silverdale Road. Turn left and walk to junction of Compton Street/Grand Hotel and turn right to the seafront.

Gildredge House School, Compton Place Rd, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN20 8AB

You can park and walk (approx 10 -15 minute walk) to the Airshow from Gildredge House School. Follow the signs from the A259 or the town centre. Download the map for the walking route. Please make a donation at the event site to support the show. Thank you

Other Facilities include: Vehicle washes £12, toilet drop facilities £12, free travel into town & hard standing.

Bus - When travelling from Brighton, take the number 12 service, this will terminate at the Arndale Centre, not the pier.

Catch the bus to the show site from Eastbourne Railway Station.

Leave Eastbourne Railway Station on to Terminus Road and cross at the pedestrian crossing. Stand M. Service 3 and 3A will whisk you to and from The Winter Gardens Complex opposite the show site. There will be an enhanced volume of service during Saturday and Sunday, however the service will terminate at its currently published times. i.e the service will not be running after the Fireworks

There will be a queing system on Saturday and Sunday at Eastbourne Railway Station from 4pm, allowing people onto the platform in the safest manner.

Cycle Park

National Cycle Network Route 21 plus FREE cycle park at Howard Square on Grand Parade. Please note for safety reasons, no bicycles may be taken into the main Airbourne site.
