Red Arrows arrive at Eastbourne Airbourne

Tourism Event of the Year 2015/16 at the Beautiful South Awards, Highly Commended in the 2016 VisitEngland Award and voted the UK's Best FREE Airshow by Airscene, Airbourne celebrated 24 years of airshow excellence in 2016.

Attracting huge crowds, Eastbourne's International Airshow boasts a 2 mile flying display line along Eastbourne seafront and regularly features the very best in military and civilian aviation display teams including the Red Arrows, Typhoon and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, plus many more.

Ground displays open 10am - 6pm daily, with flying from lunchtime until approx. 5pm. The Airbourne Live beach stage continues into the early evening.

Crowds packed out Eastbourne Airshow 2016 as the free four day festival enjoyed sunshine and flying in a successful turnout.

Rising temperatures and a packed programme of flying brought huge crowds as hundreds of thousands of spectators enjoyed highlights such as the Red Arrows, Typhoon, Norwegian MiG-15 and the long awaited return of the evocative ‘Sally B’, the only flying B-17 in Europe.
