Plan Your Visit to Eastbourne Airshow
Find out the best places to watch all the Airbourne action, information on parking, plus how to get to Eastbourne.
The packed flying programme starts at about 12pm each day and ends around 5pm. However just because the flying finishes at 5pm, don't leave the show then as there is still lots to see and do in the military trade exhibitions and trade villages.
Watch all the action in the air but don't forget to see some of our top ground attractions with something for all the family. Showground open from 10am each day.
Viewing Areas - The best place to catch the action

Seafront & Beach
Watch from prime position on the seafront at the frontline of all the flying action, with a host of trade stands and the huge beach as the ideal location to catch all the flying action. Alternatively reserve your place and avoid the crowds with the Bandstand's exclusive seating for ticket holders. Excellent, uninterrupted views across the display line.

Western Lawns & Wish Tower
Join the front row and watch all the Airbourne action on the Western Lawns amongst the military exhibition zone. For an elevated view take a walk up the Wish Tower Slopes offering great views along the whole seafront.

Beachy Head
For somewhere a bit different and unique, head to the Park n' View car park at Dencher, Beachy Head (near the pub), with views of flying displays over Eastbourne*. Toilets and refreshments available. Warren Hill pay and display, normal charges apply/Warren Hill Field and Dencher, £5 daily charge.
* Please note all displays will take place on the display line between the Western Lawns and the Pier.

Airbourne Hospitality
The Aviator Club returns in 2019. Boasting uninterrupted views of the display line from the Western Lawns. A unique, unrivalled, hospitality venue from which to admire the aerial displays all four days of the show with prices just £95.
Alternatively, The Cirrus Rooms returns to offer display line viewing with a light lunchtime buffet. Open on Sunday 18th August on the Western Lawns.

Exclusive Seating at the Bandstand
Reserve your place and avoid the crowds. It's a great place to relax, chat and enjoy the flying displays. Excellent, uninterrupted views across the flying display line. Come and go as you please knowing you will have a seat to come back to.
Adult: £10.00 - £13.50, Child: £6.00 - £9.00 per person, per day. Seats are available from 11:00am to 5:30pm.

Redoubt Fortress Gun Platform
For somewhere a bit different, make tracks to the Redoubt Fortress and watch some of the flying displays from the Eastern side of the Pier. In between displays, take a look around the historic fortress featuring hundreds of years of history.
On the Water
There will be a maritime exclusion zone for the duration of Eastbourne Airshow to enable the flying displays to take place safely.
There will be two flying display lines at 230m and 400m from the water mark and a 400m safety line at a distance of 400m from the (400m display line) i.e. 800 m from the water line.
No boats or craft can be launched into this area or enter this area at any time during the flying displays. Any boats watching displays from the sea need to anchor to the south of the 400m safety line.
If any boats / crafts enter the safety zone ALL flying displays will be stopped. Please adhere to the instructions of the event safety boat call sign “Katrina” who can be contacted on VHF channel 73. Thank you for complying to these measures to ensure a safe air show.
Airbourne Information
Information Tent - Visit the Information Tent on the Western Lawns for the latest flying updates and event information. Plus you can donate to the 'Give a Quid' campaign. Proceeds go towards the future of the airshow and local good causes.

Lost person / meeting point - The lost person's marquee and meeting point is located on Wilmington Square.
First Aid - Temporary first aid posts are situated on King Edward's Parade, at the Lifeguard's station and at the Red Cross Field Medical Centre in Wilmington Square.

Buy your programme

Order your Airbourne 2018 programme and choose to either collect it from the Seafront Office. You can order online or purchase from the Tourist Information Centre, Seafront Office or programme sellers. Look out for you copy!
Radio Airbourne 87.7FM

Tune in for advance information, weather, traffic and car parking reports plus flying commentaries and interviews on 87.7FM.
With broadcasting coming live from a selection of venues across Eastboune including Devonshire Park Tennis Centre and The Beachdeck.
The station will be back on the airwaves over the four days of Airbourne and is a great way to keep up with all the action if you're on your way to the show.
