RAF Exhibition

The Royal Air Force http://www.raf.mod.uk/ exhibition can be found on the Western Lawns outside the Grand Hotel and this year includes a replica Tornado GR4 aircraft and two ''Red Arrow' Hawks as well as a new Typhoon display and Typhoon simulator. Representatives from a variety of RAF Services will be on hand to answer your questions about life in the Royal Air Force at this fascinating exhibition brought to Eastbourne by the RAF Recruitment Service.

Army Aviation Jubilee Celebration

The Army Historic Aircraft Flight celebrate with a special ground exhibition of historic pieces, including Sioux and Skeeter helicopters.

Royal Navy & Royal Marines

Visit the commando Dome, climbing wall and Navy simulator.

Arena Displays

Throughout the weekend a variety of displays and spectacles will take place in the Arena on the Western Lawns, near the Wish Tower.

Attractions will include:

  • RAF Police Volunteer Dog Display Team
  • Air Training Corps display
  • Royal Air Force Falcons & Royal Navy Parachute Team arena landings and salute (Tigers Parachute Display Team will land in sea)
  • An Ensemble of the Central Band of the Royal Air Force provide music from 17 - 19 August
  • Dairylea Team Extreme displays (in the Dairylea zone next to arena)
  • The Go Fast Jet Man shows how man can actually fly without wings. Driven by steam propelled rocket, this exciting attraction comes courtesy of Go Fast Speed Days at Eastbourne (1-2 Sept). For details please visit Go Fast Sports
